New Fact Sheets for Nail Salons 
CDC has published new fact sheets for nail salon employers and employees providing information on measures to take to protect against COVID-19 while at work.

New Resources for the Mining Industry
CDC has published a web resource, Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and Mining, which provides steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19 through everyday actions. Information for those with serious underlying medical conditions such as black lung is included. Printable fact sheets developed by CDC in collaboration with the Mining Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) can also be found on this page.

Request for White Papers
CDC Broad Agency Announcement: Developing Strategies for Protection, Prevention & Control in Communities (75D301-20-R-68024)
CDC issued a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for applied research to address the COVID-19 continued public health emergency. CDC is requesting white papers for the following six areas: strategies for protection and monitoring of worker health; strategies to reduce spread in communities; protections for COVID-19 vulnerable populations in high risk congregate settings such as long-term care, nursing homes, and correctional facilities; natural history of SARS-CoV-2 infection; environmental controls; and genomic sequencing of SARS-CoV-2 to investigate the evolution, emergence, and spread of infections in communities and populations.
