Purpose: To enhance knowledge about the US MEC, which is an evidence-based source of clinical guidance for the safe use of contraceptive methods by women and men with various characteristics and medical conditions. The goal is for the audience to apply what they learn from the slides to their practice as they counsel women, men, and couples about contraceptive method choice. These speaker slides can be used by individuals interested in learning about the US MEC, or can be used or adapted to give presentations on the US MEC.
