At AIDS.gov, we continue to encourage the use of mobile devices to extend the reach of HIV public health programs. Because we promote the use of mobile, we feel obliged to remind our readers and ourselves not to text and drive. Even hands-free mobile use can be dangerous. A recent report from the University of Alberta
The U.S. Department of Transportation has important information about the dangers of texting and driving at distracted.gov. If you are promoting the use of mobile devices and tools your agency or organization, be sure to include information about the importance of using them safely.
