NIH Statement on Preliminary Efficacy Results of Twice-Yearly Lenacapavir for HIV Prevention in Cisgender Women

The findings build on decades of discovery and translational research and collaboration between public and private sector to steer promising concepts from the laboratory to the clinic. The Institute looks forward to the release of additional data from this pivotal study, as well as the outcomes of companion studies of lenacapavir in other populations.
