In addition to the online STEADI training, CDC is releasing a resource to help healthcare providers implement a fall prevention program in their clinic. A new slide deck, Building Clinical Strategies to STEADI Your Older Patients, offers healthcare providers a template for how to inform healthcare administrators on the value and importance of a STEADI-based fall prevention program in their practice or healthcare setting. The slides contain information from the new online training and the CDC’s Coordinated Care Plan to Prevent Older Adult Falls.
