Women Living With HIV/AIDS Who Binge Drink Are Less Likely to Take Their Antiretroviral Medicine as Prescribed
A new CDC study published in AIDS Care found that women living with HIV/AIDS in the United States who engaged in binge drinking were less likely to adhere to antiretroviral therapy or be virally suppressed compared with the women living with HIV/AIDS who did not drink alcohol.
