DESCRIPTION
The 2018 Research Conference on Sleep and the Health of Women is intended to sound a wakeup call throughout society about the importance of sleep for the health of women. It will showcase a decade of federally funded research advances in understanding health risks, societal burden, and treatment options associated with sleep deficiency and sleep disorders in women.
Researchers and the public will present and discuss the state of the science regarding sleep and the health of women; the limitations to implement what is already known; and the opportunities to translate scientific findings into practice and routine care. The discussion panels will include Federal and public stakeholders to identify actionable new directions and areas in which research is needed.
Want to submit a poster to the conference? Check the Call for Abstracts.
