Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance — United States, 2013 Laura Kann, PhD, Steve Kinchen, Shari L. Shanklin, MPH, et al. MMWR 2014;63(No. SS-4) Certain health-risk behaviors are among the leading causes of morbidity and mortality among youth and adults in the United States. To compare the prevalence of these behaviors among subpopulations of students, the Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System monitors six categories of risk behaviors among youth and young adults. This report presents findings for 2013. |
