- October 15, 2012: FDA-TRACK Medical Countermeasures Initiative (MCMi) Quarterly Briefing Summary
- FDA-TRACK Medical Countermeasures Initiative (MCMi) Dashboard – The Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) completed development of an animal model to model absorption and distribution of an administered drug, the rate at which a drug action begins and the duration of its effect in developing nonhuman primate as part of its “Animal Models of Pregnancy to Address Medical Countermeasures” key project.
National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR)
- October 15, 2012: FDA-TRACK NCTR Quarterly Briefing Summary
- FDA-TRACK NCTR Dashboard - As part of DBT’s program measure, “Quantitative Assessments of Acrylamide and Furan”, a manuscript describing the tumorigenicity of acrylamide and glycidamide in newborn mice was recently published in the International Journal of Cancer. DM completed its “Alternative Approaches to Antibiotic Therapy for the Prevention and Treatment of Bacterial Infections” project and a manuscript is under review. As part of DM’s program measure, “Impact of Antimicrobial Drug Residues on Human Gastrointestinal Microorganisms”, manuscripts describing the work have been published in the Journal of Antibiotics, Anaerobe and the Journal of Regulatory Toxicology and Pharmacology.
- October 15, 2012: FDA-TRACK Office of the Chief Scientist Quarterly Briefing Summary
- FDA-TRACK OC Office of the Chief Scientist (OCS) Dashboard – ORSI added new key projects to track progress of the Centers of Excellence in Regulatory Science and Innovation (CERSI) program, Broad Agency Announcement (BAA), and FDA Nanotechnology Regulatory Science Program. OWH completed its key project to launch a Video Novella named “Nunca Mas” in an effort to minimize consumer medication risks and reduce preventable harm from medications in underserved Hispanic audiences.
