Errata: Vol. 61, No. RR-4
Weekly
November 2, 2012 / 61(43);886In the MMWR Recommendations and Reports, "Recommendations for the Identification of Chronic Hepatitis C Infection Among Persons Born During 1945–1965," two errors occurred on page 10. Under the heading "All-Cause Mortality," 10 lines from the bottom, the parenthetical wording should read: "(Genotype 1 only: relative risk [RR] = 0.7; 95% CI = 0.59–0.83)." The original text erroneously presented the results from a post-hoc pooled analysis conducted by CDC. The correction reflects the findings of the cited study.
Under the heading "Sustained Virologic Response," the third sentence should read: "Newer direct-acting antiviral agents increase the chance of SVR from an average of 41.3% for pegylated interferon and ribavirin therapy to approximately 70% with triple therapy (pooled risk difference: 28%; 95% CI = 24%–32%)." The original text erroneously presented the findings of the cited studies as a relative risk. This correction accurately describes the findings as a pooled risk difference.
