FDA Basics Webinar: Managing Medication Risks

When the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) considers the safety of a drug or biologic (such as a vaccine), it must assess whether its benefits outweigh its risks. In some cases, FDA requires the manufacturer to implement a Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS) to help ensure safe use of the medical product.

On Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 1 p.m. EST, an FDA Basics Webinar will address the role of the REMS and how it can help you, your physician and your pharmacist manage medication risks safely.
