Health Tip: At Risk for Muscle Cramps
Who is most likely to get them

The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons says these factors increase the risk of getting a muscle cramp:
- Being a young child or infant.
- Being age 65 or older.
- Taking certain medications.
- Being overweight.
- Overexerting yourself.
- Being an athlete, particularly in the pre-season before the body is fully conditioned.
