NIAID and Partners to Develop Antibody-Based Products for HIV Prevention and Treatment

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, part of the National Institutes of Health, and IAVI, a nonprofit scientific research organization, recently announced a collaboration to develop combinations of HIV broadly neutralizing antibodies (bNAbs) that could be produced on a large scale at low cost to prevent and possibly treat HIV.
