Today, on CDC’s Safe Healthcare Blog, Acting U.S. Surgeon General Rear Admiral Boris D. Lushniak, MD, MPH, reinforces the need for antibiotic stewardship programs in every hospital nationwide.  His comments come as CDC yesterday released a report calling for improved prescribing practices in hospitals.
