Uterine Cancer Statistics

Uterine cancer is the fourth most common cancer in women in the United States and the most commonly diagnosed gynecologic cancer.†
In 2010 (the most recent year numbers are available)—
  • 44,717 women in the United States were diagnosed with uterine cancer.*†
  • 8,402 women in the United States died from uterine cancer.*†
*Incidence counts cover about 97% of the U.S. population; death counts cover about 100% of the U.S. population. Use caution when comparing incidence and death counts.
