Pertussis is on the Rise
Reported pertussis cases are on the rise this year in the US and we will likely see the most number of cases since 1959. Vaccination is the most effective way to prevent pertussis in your patients. Pertussis vaccines are recommended across the lifespan, including for pregnant women. The main focus is on protecting infants, who are at greatest risk for serious illness, including death.
