Reducing the Burden of HPV- associated Cancer and Disease through HPV vaccination in the US

On Tuesday, February 19th at 1:00 – 2:00 pm EST, notable contributors to the world of STD prevention will present during the CDC Public Health Grand Rounds in a session titled “Reducing the Burden of HPV - associated Cancer and Disease through HPV vaccination in the US.”
This session of Public Health Grand Rounds will explore the burden of human papillomavirus (HPV) -associated cancer and disease in the United States and prevention through HPV vaccination. HPV is the most common sexually transmitted infection in the United States attributing to an estimated 26,000 cancers yearly. This link between STIs and cancer highlights why STD Prevention through education is essential to the field of public health and medicine. We invite you and your graduate students to join us and learn more about HPV vaccination and the burden of HPV-associated diseases.
