Influenza is Dangerous for Children

While flu seasons vary in severity, every year children are at high risk of severe complications. This flu season, 166 flu-related pediatric deaths were reported to CDC. This number is high compared to other seasons but remains lower than the 2017-2018 season during which 188 pediatric deaths were reported.
