The Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine can prevent 30,000 Americans from getting cancer each year. It is safe, effective, and can protect our children against HPV-associated cancers. Today, only half of adolescents are up to date on their HPV vaccination, leaving them at risk.
In recognition of International HPV Awareness Day, please join the fight to end HPV cancers and raise awareness about the importance of HPV vaccination. Please take action today and:
- Join the Assistant Secretary for Health and U.S. Surgeon General for the #EndHPVCancers Twitter Chat on Monday, March 4 at 3:00 p.m., Eastern
- Share social media graphics and posts from the Vaccines.gov HPV Promotional Toolkit
- Find evidence-based practices and resources from the National HPV Roundtable
- Get parent and clinician HPV resources from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
You can also join us online! Use the hashtag #EndHPVCancers and retweet @HHSvaccines and @HHS_ASH.
Every child deserves a future without HPV cancers. Together, we can make that future a reality by increasing HPV vaccination rates in every clinic and community across the nation.
