Research Funds for Provocative Questions Now Available

NCI's Provocative Questions Project is seeking applications from researchers eager to influence the state of cancer research by tackling potentially game-changing scientific questions that could drive progress against cancer. The grants will support research projects that use sound and innovative research strategies to solve specific problems and paradoxes in cancer research.
A total of 24 provocative questions posed during the nationwide Provocative Questions workshops and from website submissions have been selected for inclusion in the Request for Applications (RFAs), "Research Answers to NCI's Provocative Questions."

Abierto el período de solicitud de fondos para "Cuestiones para la reflexión"

La iniciativa Cuestiones para la reflexión del NCI está recibiendo solicitudes de investigadores que deseen influir en el ámbito de la investigación oncológica, a través de propuestas que busquen resolver interrogantes científicos e introducir cambios profundos que fomenten el progreso de la investigación del cáncer. Las subvenciones respaldarán proyectos de investigación que usen estrategias de investigación sólidas e innovadoras para resolver problemas específicos y paradojas en el campo de la investigación oncológica.
Se seleccionó un total de 24 cuestiones para la reflexión a partir de seminarios realizados a nivel nacional y de comentarios recibidos a través del sitio web; estas se incluyeron en las solicitudes de financiación RFA que buscan acometer proyectos relacionados con esta iniciativa del NCI.
