vaccine check up

August is National Immunization Awareness Month—a good time to make sure that you’re up-to-date on your vaccines.

It’s likely that you do many things to promote your well-being—like eating healthy, getting plenty of physical activity, taking steps to manage stress, and following official guidance on protecting yourself against COVID-19.

Getting vaccinated is another important way to protect your health. Vaccines work with your body’s defenses to help you safely develop immunity to serious diseases. But they can’t work if you don’t get them—and some people have understandably fallen behind on their immunizations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you’re not sure whether you’re up-to-date on your vaccines, check with your health care provider today.
