Health Tip: Managing Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Pain
Treating pain may ease other symptoms

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says managing that pain can help ease other symptoms of CFS, including lack of sleep.
The CDC offers these suggestions for dealing with chronic fatigue syndrome pain:
- Take a pain relieving medication such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen.
- Consider working with a pain management specialist.
- Perform gentle stretching exercises.
- Other potential ways to soothe pain include a gentle massage, heat therapy or relaxation techniques.
