(HealthDay News) -- Deep pain within the muscles and joints is a common complaint among people with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says managing that pain can help ease other symptoms of CFS, including lack of sleep.
The CDC offers these suggestions for dealing with chronic fatigue syndrome pain:
  • Take a pain relieving medication such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen.
  • Consider working with a pain management specialist.
  • Perform gentle stretching exercises.
  • Other potential ways to soothe pain include a gentle massage, heat therapy or relaxation techniques.
