Patients Matter Video Series

We are pleased to announce the addition of new videos highlighting perspectives from the patient community on FDA’s Patient Listening Sessions. Patient Listening Sessions are one of many ways patient communities can share their experiences with a disease or condition by talking directly with FDA staff in the medical product centers. For general information, check out "What is an FDA Patient Listening Session?" to learn about what happens during these sessions. In these new videos, patients, caregivers, and advocates who have participated in the Patient Listening Session Program discuss why they requested a session and their personal experiences with the program. Additional videos will be coming soon featuring FDA staff, and representatives from the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) and the Reagan-Udall Foundation for the FDA, who explain why they find FDA Patient Listening Sessions meaningful and beneficial to their organizations.
