Now Available: Children's Mental Health Awareness Day Webcast
Did you miss the Children's Mental Health Awareness Day national event? The recorded webcast of the event is now available on SAMHSA's website. The event highlighted the needs of youth and young adults with mental or substance use disorders and their families, while demonstrating how these needs can be best met through integrated care. The event also introduced cutting-edge community strategies for integrating behavioral health care with primary health care, education, and child welfare.
National Children's Mental Health Awareness Day, held on May 7, 2015, was hosted in collaboration with the American Psychiatric Association, American Psychiatric Foundation, Clinton Health Matters Initiative, Clinton Foundation, and Jed Foundation as part of SAMHSA's Caring for Every Child's Mental Health Campaign.
