Reported CD4+ T-Lymphocyte Results for Adults and Adolescents with HIV Infection—37 States, 2005–2007
HIV Surveillance Supplemental Report, Volume 16, Number 1
The information in this report can also be used to evaluate prevention activities. This report complements traditional HIV infection surveillance data for persons aged 13 years and older. For each analysis, we assessed the CD4 test result at a specified time after HIV diagnosis—for most tabulated data, within 3 and 12 months after diagnosis. To allow for the stabilization of data collection and for adjustment of the data to monitor trends, we used data from 37 states with HIV reporting to CDC for at least 4 years.
