The Food and Drug Administration and the National Institutes of Health, in collaboration with the National Organization for Rare Disorders and Duke University Medical Center, offer a 3-day course on conducting research on rare diseases and orphan products. The course focuses on FDA’s regulatory requirements and the clinical trial issues that are especially relevant to rare disease research.
