Raise Awareness of Diabetes During National Minority Health Month

National Minority Month
Many racial and ethnic minority populations, including African Americans, Hispanics and Latinos, American Indians and Alaska Natives, and Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, are disproportionately affected by diabetes. During National Minority Health Month, join the National Diabetes Education Program (NDEP) to raise awareness of this important health message.
The NDEP has a variety of publications and resources tailored for minority populations that you can use to support outreach efforts in your community:
Visit www.YourDiabetesInfo.org to learn more and find additional resources you can use to raise awareness of diabetes.
