Free Tools to Track Your Child’s Development

Do you know all the ways to measure your child's growth?

We often think of height and weight, but from birth to age 5, your child should reach specific milestones in how he or she plays, learns, speaks, acts, and moves. Not reaching a milestone in any of these areas could be a sign of a developmental problem, even autism. The good news is, the earlier it's recognized the more you can do to help your child reach his or her full potential.

Start tracking milestones today!

Knowing what to look for is a key to knowing if your child is developing well.

What Can I Do if I Suspect a Problem with My Child's Development?

Remember, you know your child best.
  • If you think your child is not meeting the milestones for his or her age, talk with your child's doctor and share your concerns.
  • If you, your child's teacher, or another care provider is concerned about how your child plays, learns, speaks, acts, or moves, talk with your child's doctor and share your concerns.
  • Don't wait. Acting early can make a real difference!
