Contagion Movie: Fact and Fiction in Film

Photo: Lab technicianIn the last two years, CDC has sent scientists and doctors out more than 750 times to respond to health threats. A new movie called Contagion is showing on screens nationwide. While the movie is a work of fiction, the real-life stories of CDC’s elite Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) are just as exciting as the story on the screen.
