Nearly 5,000 healthy volunteers have enrolled in NIAID Vaccine Research Center (VRC) clinical studies to help develop vaccines against diseases such as HIV/AIDS, Ebola, and influenza. Healthy volunteers come from varying backgrounds, but all share the desire to help build better vaccines for a healthier world.
